Kirin Light and Kobe Beef Sushi

Last night I went to Spy is St. Augustine ,for the second time, and it only got better. I had a few Kirin lights and they were a pretty good choice to accompany the Japanese/Asian cuisine. I doubt I would ever purchase Kirin light to enjoy at home, but if you are out for sushi give it a fucking try. It has a nice full taste for only having 95 calories. I enjoyed it's nice hop taste and that is not over powering.

The beer may have been a decent choice, but the sushi topped with seared Kobe Beef was the fucking shit. I am so glad that some Asian man rubbed a cow down with alcohol just so I could enjoy it on the top of my dinner. It kinda tasted like butter/beef jerky and just melted in my mouth. It was the most American Non-American piece of steak I have ever ingested into my tummy. Fuck yes to Kirin Light and Kobe beef. MORE IMPORTANTLY FUCK YES TO FREEDOM!

Other than one of my best friends being in Afghanistan killing people; this is the second best reason to be proud of America.

This Beer Sucks. Yes, I did follow the instructions on the best way to drink this beer. If you follow the instructions it is a bit better than drinking it from the bottle, but it still sucks.

Please do not waste your time and money trying this beer. If you enjoy Hoegaarden, fuck you.

First Review

I have recently gotten into a beer brewed by www.magichat.net It is called Magic Hat#9. Yes, I know the name is gay as fuck, but it is pretty tasty for a nationally distrubited micro-brew.

Here is what Magic Hat has to say:

"A beer cloaked in secrecy. An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A sort of dry, crisp, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it."

Blah, Blah, Blah who gives a fuck about that? This is what I think!

It tastes way better out of bottle than on draft. It has a slight sweet flavor and hints of apricot. With this being said, I have never had more than three on any given night. It is the perfect brew to enjoy with a nice dinner or take with you to a BBQ. It is $8.49+ a six pack at my local Publix. The price factor may be a turn off for some, but it is worth a chance.
